To All Member Units:
To ensure the implementation of iTAP technical and testing standards, and to guarantee the effectiveness of the pilot operation of the evaluation process system, the Accreditation & Arbitration Committee (A&AC) of the Association—the core governance body responsible for test standard execution and product application—will initiate committee member supplementation. We sincerely invite core enterprises in the iTAP product industry chain to recommend experts with profound technical expertise, to collectively shoulder the critical mission of building the industry evaluation system, conducting qualification assessments, and implementing quality control.
1. Definition of A&AC Responsibilities
(1) Evaluation System Construction: Dynamically develop and iteratively update the testing framework specifications and application document standards based on the ITMA Test Spec, ensuring consistency between testing standards and application execution.
(2) Qualification & Tool Assessment: Responsible for the qualification assessment, technical review, and certification of Association-authorized laboratories and evaluation tools.
(3) Evaluation Report Review: Conduct comprehensive compliance audits of product evaluation reports throughout the entire process, guaranteeing that evaluation results meet testing standard specification requirements.
(4) Product Listing Management: Lead the authorization reviews for product listing and the use of the iTAP trademark, maintaining the normative application of iTAP technology in products.
(5) Quality Appraisal Support: Assist, as required by the Association, in completing quality appraisal work for products defined by ITMA, strengthening industrial quality control.
(6) Other Functional Duties: Perform other strategic work related to A&AC responsibilities.
2. Core Obligations of A&AC Members
Members must fulfill their duties as guardians of the industry, strictly adhere to the Association's charter and the A&AC Work Management Regulations, and deeply participate in the entire process of reviewing the implementation of testing standards and the evaluation system. During their term, members must ensure:
(1) Obligation to Participate in Decision-Making: Must attend relevant A&AC committee meetings, provide forward-thinking recommendations based on professional technical background, and ensure the efficient implementation of testing standards and evaluation system activities.
(2) Obligation to Execute & Advance: Provide full assistance in the implementation of meeting resolutions, ensuring the orderly operation of all aspects of the evaluation system.
(3) Obligation of Confidentiality & Compliance: A&AC members bear legal confidentiality obligations regarding all technical materials, assessment data, etc., submitted by the Association and its members. Members must sign the A&AC Member Confidentiality Undertaking and file it with the Association prior to assuming their role.
3. Candidacy for A&AC Membership
The total number of A&AC members must be an odd number and comprise experts from multiple segments of the industry chain to ensure the scientific objectivity of review decisions.
(1) Priority will be given to technical leaders or senior experts from key segment representative enterprises in the iTAP industry chain (e.g., application, terminal, chip, service).
(2) Mandatory Eligibility Criteria: Nominees must be currently employed staff of organizations holding Executive (or higher) membership level (limited to one nomination per organization).
(3) Candidates must possess substantial professional experience in product-related technologies, testing, etc.
(4) When selecting candidates from similar types of enterprises, priority consideration will be given to membership level and the candidate's relevant professional experience.
(5) Term & Succession Mechanism: Each term is 3 years. Members must re-run for election upon term expiry. If a member resigns during their term, their original organization must recommend a successor candidate within 15 working days.
4. Selection Rules:
(1) A&AC Members: Several positions available.
(2) Candidacy Process: ① Submit application materials → ② Council eligibility review → ③ Working group vote → ④ Official announcement of results on the Association website.
5. Application Materials:
Submit detailed candidate profile, including: Company name, Full name, Position, Email, Phone number, Personal educational background, Work experience, Summary of work achievements. Include copies of any published papers or technical articles, if applicable.
Candidates should also provide a detailed description of any projects specifically responsible for, such as related product technology R&D or product testing projects, along with their outcomes.
