On March 24, 2023, the Intelligent Terminal Memory Association (ITMA) held the "2022 Annual Conference and the Fifth Working Group Plenary Meeting of the Intelligent Terminal Storage Association" at JW Marriott Hotel, Bao'an District, Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, China. The conference was held in a hybrid mode of online and offline. All member units can choose to attend the conference on site or share online through registration.
More than 30 representatives from member units attended the conference, including seven major topics:
Topic 1: Introduction to the progress of the association's work
Topic 2: Approve the next annual plan of the working group
Topic 3: Adoption of audit reports from June 30, 2021 to June 30, 2022
Topic 4: Appointment of Auditors: Appointing Wanxin Certified Public Accountants Co., Ltd. as the Auditor for the Next Year
Topic 5: Approval of the Association's Next Annual Budget
Topic 6: Introduction to New Members from April 2022 to March 2023
Topic 7: Issuance of NM Card Trademark Authorization Certificate
Firstly, Mr. Tai Wei, the Secretary General of the Association, will summarize and introduce the development of the Association in the past year, and guide the future development direction of the Association. The Secretary General stated that the original storage technology has reached a certain level and is beginning to enter intelligent applications. The homogenization of standard products is severe, and competition pressure is high. It is necessary to do profitable things in order to attract more people. Layout performance/capacity/intelligent storage/high computing power/high I/O direction, identify which can be made into standards, and enable more scenario architectures to provide differentiated competitive products based on this standard.
Next, the chairpersons of each working group reported on their key work plans for 2023, and their work plans were approved through discussion at the meeting. The Chairman of the Technology Group, Fan Shunan, stated that in the future, automotive storage may become an important application direction for NM Cards. In this process, NM Cards will need to meet the special requirements of performance, lifespan, and compatibility of automotive storage chips. The testing team and AAC will continue to complete routine tasks such as revising the NM card testing report template, adding authorized testing laboratory review, trademark authorization review, and problematic product quality review in the new year. The marketing team will continue to increase NM card distribution channels in the new year: increase and supplement domestic and international distribution channels, increase NM1.0 promotion efforts, promote cost reduction for NM card manufacturers and customers, and collaborate with other teams to form low-cost card standards.
By a show of hands vote, everyone unanimously agreed to appoint Wanxin Certified Public Accountants Co., Ltd. as the auditor for the following year. And the Secretary General of the Association shall issue a Chairman's Certificate to the newly appointed Chairman of the A&AC Committee.
Then, from April 2022 to March 2023, new members who joined the association introduced themselves. At the same time, representatives of the council, Mr. Yuan Yaojie, Secretary General, Mr. Tai Wei, and A&AC Chairman, Mr. Zhao Yanbo, jointly issued certificates to new members and enterprises that have completed NM Card authorization.
